Terms of Service

The Slow Space website at slowspace.store (the “Site”) is operated by Towering Tree LLC, d/b/a Slow Space (“Slow Space,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

Slow Space isn't a marketplace, and we don't resell other stores' inventory. Everything here is selected by us and made for us by the makers and studios we work with, and every order ships from California. Much of what we sell is made by hand rather than mass-produced, so pieces can differ slightly from one another and from the photos. That is part of what makes them worth having. Our photos are as accurate as we can make them, but the piece you receive may vary a little in glaze, tone, or shape.

All prices are in US dollars. Payment goes through Shopify's secure checkout, and we accept the payment methods shown there. We never see or store your full card details. If an item turns out to be unavailable, or a listing has an obvious error in price or description, we may cancel the order. We'll let you know and refund you in full.

We ship from California, within the United States only. Shipping methods, timelines, and costs live on our Shipping & Returns page, along with our policy on returns, exchanges, cancellations, and damaged items. That page is part of these Terms. In short, reach out within 14 days of delivery and we'll make it right.

The photography, text, and design of this Site belong to Towering Tree LLC or its partners. Please don't reproduce them without written permission.

The Site is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep everything accurate and running, but we can't promise it will always be error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to what you paid for that order, and we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page, with the date above. Changes apply to orders placed after they take effect.
